Guy, Louise | Serenade | |
Louise Guy is a second-year law student at Christ Church and was awarded the William Ewald Instrumental Exhibition on piano. She has performed the Grieg Piano Concerto in BBC Hoddinott Hall, where she will be performing Rachmaninov Piano Concerto no. 2 in December. This programme reflects her passion for Romantic music, tracing an emotional journey from the love and heartbreak of the song transcriptions to the exuberance of Chopin’s Grande Polonaise and the virtuosic, yet whimsical, La Campanella.
